Sunil Shende, senior actor of Hindi and Marathi cinema, has died at the age of 75 at his residence in Mumbai. In his career spanning several decades, Sunil Shende acted in many famous films of Marathi cinema, while he also played notable characters in Hindi serials and films.
Sunil Shende worked in the TV serial ‘Circus’. In the serial, he became Babuji of the character played by Shahrukh Khan. Apart from this, he worked in many serials of Doordarshan.
He had played his role in many superhit films like ‘Gandhi’, ‘Sarfarosh’, ‘Madhuchandrachi Raat’, ‘Narasimha’ and ‘Jas Baap Tashe Por’. Sunil Shende is survived by wife Jyoti and two sons Hrishikesh and Omkar. He also has a daughter-in-law and grandchildren in his family.
