In the upcoming episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14, Amitabh Bachchan will say sorry to Contestant Suraj Das. In a promo shared by Sony Entertainment’s YouTube handle, Amitabh is seen apologizing to the contestant for hurting actor Vinod Khanna with a glass, after which he got 16 stitches while shooting for a scene in the film Muqaddar Ka Sikandar. The film Muqaddar Ka Sikandar was released on 27 October 1978. It starred Rekha, Rakhi Gulzar along with Amitabh and Vinod.

In the video, the contestant can be heard saying, “Sir, I read somewhere, during the shooting of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar Jo Vinod Khanna ji, you throw us a glass and that glass is on his chin, and then he has to Solah taake padhe hai, kya yeh sahi hai sir (I read somewhere, that during the shooting of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar with Vinod Khanna, you threw a glass at her, as a result of which she got hurt around the chin and got sixteen stitches).
Everyone sitting in the audience started clapping and laughing.
To which Amitabh replied, “Sir yeh bilkul sahi hai, wrong hoga humse (You are right, I have made a mistake).” Then, the way the host admitted his mistake, the audience laughed. Amitabh went on to say, “Baar main khade hua hum pe rahe tha (we were drinking while standing in the bar). Immediately the contestant can be heard saying, “Ya yes sahi hai (Yes yes, you are right).” Then Amitabh said in annoyance, “Bhaisaheb, when so much has been seen by you, toh rahe hai humko.” Everyone sitting in the audience started clapping and laughing.
Suraj Das further added, “When you used to rehearse for the title track of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, you used to rehearse on a bike, you would travel from Juhu to Bandra on a bike and women would follow you.” Amitabh said. In amazement, “Kon bola aapko (who told this to you).”
