Azam Khan convicted in hate speech case, sentenced to 3 years in jail

Senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan has been convicted by the Rampur Court in the hate speech case. The court has also sentenced him to 3 years in this case. It was decided by the punishment that Azam Khan would no longer remain an MLA.
However, he has got bail. If the sentence continues, Azam Khan will have to leave the membership of the Legislative Assembly. If he is sentenced to more than two years, he can go to the Legislature. Rampur court had convicted today itself. The court had held guilty under sections 125, 505 and 153A.
Let us tell you that during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections against Azam Khan, he had addressed a public meeting in Khatanagariya village of Milak Kotwali area. It is alleged that he had given provocative speech which could spread hatred between two sections. Whose video went viral.
