Bachwara: RPF police arrested a person with stolen pulses from a cargo train, sent to jail

Bachwara (Begusarai) Railway Protection Force (RPF) Police at Bachwara Junction of Sonpur Division has arrested a person with stolen pulses from a cargo train. Regarding the matter, RPF Inspector Pradeep Kumar Yadav said that Deepak Kumar, son of Gyan Chandra Paswan, resident of ward number 8 Azad Nagar village of Rani Ek Panchayat, has been arrested.

He said that 13 bags of moong dal were stolen by the arrested person from a cargo train going from Bilaspur Dalirajhao in Chhattisgarh state to Silchar Bhanga in Assam state. He said that a secret information was received by Railway Control, Sonpur that the property going from goods train between Bachwara Barauni to Gumti No. 20 and 21 was being stolen.

On the basis of a tip-off, RPF police along with the team rushed to the culvert number 10 between Railway Gumti No. 20 and 21, where 13 sacks of 30 KG moong dal, which were unloaded from the cargo train, were kept in the pit on the railway side. The thief ran away from there as soon as the police came to know about it. After a lot of waiting and effort by the police, the thief who came to pick up the sack of pulses again unloaded, was arrested by the RPF police with the sack of pulses.

Told them that the unloaded pulses were going from Bilaspur Dalirajhao in Chhattisgarh state to Silchar Bhanga in Assam state. Then the sack of pulses was unloaded by the said thieves near the number 10 culvert between Bachwara Junction and Barauni Junction, near the 10 number culvert between 20 and 30. He said that an FIR has been registered against the arrested accused under the Railway Act. The arrested accused has been sent to judicial custody after interrogation.
