Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Sunday said that he was recently taken to a hospital here after he had a vein cut in his left calf. The cinema icon, who turned 80 earlier this year, shared the news on his official blog and said that he has got stitches to control the bleeding.
“A jute piece of metal cut my left calf and managed to cut the vein.. The ‘red’ came out uncontrollably when the vein was cut.. but the doctor and so on to stitch an ot and nerve Was. With the help of timely staff and team of doctors..,” wrote Bachchan. It’s a bit passive, but the measure and the desire to continue the same spirit of tribe and class gives one hope and let’s face it… it’s quite fresh and with opinions and advice.”
He said that he is not even allowed to walk on the treadmill and wrote, “At admission, the therapy is not allowed to not stand, move, not put pressure on him even by walking the treadmill!! Sometimes extremes of satisfaction can bring joy or sorrow of existence.. but the extremes do not last and never last.. They either perish or leave an indelible mark.. at strategic places on the body or the body .. it’s an embarrassment .. all it takes to get out of this, so help me god..!!!”
Amitabh was recently seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious project, Brahmastra Part One Shiva. He is now gearing up for the release of Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film Unchai which also stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Parineeti Chopra, Danny Dengzongpa and Boman Irani. The film is set to hit the theaters on November 11.
