In less than a week, Bigg Boss 16 is all set to hit the TV screens, with Salman Khan taking over as the host. The list of contestants being signed contracts is being narrowed down to the last. According to sources, actress Soundarya Sharma, who featured in the film Ranchi Diaries and the web show Raktanchal, has been confirmed as a contestant. Known for her glamorous avatar, Sharma was also in news for her auditions for Wonder Woman 1984. Next on the list are TV actors Gautam Vig and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. Gautam has been a part of shows like Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2, Naamkaran, Pinjara Khubsurati Ka, Tantra and Ishq Subhan Allah. Colors TV also posted a video on its Instagram story answering questions from some of Gautam’s fans, confirming his presence on the show. Nimrit, as readers would know, is a former Miss India contestant and played the lead role in the Colors show Choti Sarrdaarni.

As already reported by us, Uttaran actors Tina Dutta and Sreejita Dey will also be a part of Bigg Boss 16 along with Tamarind lead Sumbul Tauqeer and model Manya Singh. Film director Sajid Khan is also likely to join the Salman Khan show along with TV faces Surbhi Jyoti, Shivin Narang, Kanika Mann and Prakriti Mishra. While there is a lot of buzz about Lock Up winner Munawwar Farooqui joining the show, there is a strong possibility that he might miss the show. This season of the reality show is said to come with a new set of rules Because Bigg Boss himself will play the game. In the promo, host Salman Khan was seen flaunting his inner villain in Gabbar Singh and Mogambo’s getup. He also assured that everyone’s plans will fail as he will bring some new twists in the game.
The grand premiere of Bigg Boss 16 took place on October 1 and 2, where Salman Khan introduced the contestants before being locked inside the house for 105 days. The show will air Monday-Friday at 10 pm, while Bollywood Bhaijaan will grill the housemates on Weekend Ka Vaar at 9:30 pm.
