NCB files 200-page chargesheet against Bharti Singh and husband Harsh Limbachiyaa in 2020 drug case – Online News Global

Comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa found themselves in legal trouble once again. Mumbai’s Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) filed a 200-page chargesheet against Bharti and Harsh in the court. The couple was arrested in a drug case in 2020 and is currently out on bail.
Granted bail on surety of Rs 15,000
Bharti and Harsh were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in 2020 for allegedly possessing a small quantity of marijuana and consuming drugs. He was arrested after raids at his home and office in Andheri West led to the seizure of 86.50 grams of marijuana. She was granted bail on a surety of Rs 15,000. This was confirmed in the report and tweeted, “Mumbai NCB files 200 page chargesheet in court against comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa. He was arrested in the drug case in 2020, he is out now.” Bail: NCB.
Section 20 of NDPS Act against Bharti and Harsh
Earlier, a report quoted an NCB official as saying, “Both Bharti and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa admitted to consuming ganja.” The searches were conducted by the NCB as part of its probe into alleged drug use in the entertainment industry. A case has been registered against Bharti and Harsh under sections 20 (b) (ii) (a) (contains a small quantity of drugs) and 8 (c) (possession of drugs) and 27 (consumption of drugs) of the NDPS Act. Bharti and Harsh Limbachiyaa are now parents to six-month-old baby Lakshya. Meanwhile, on the work front, currently the host of the singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2022.
