Singham 3: Deepika Padukone’s entry in Rohit Shetty’s film, actress will be seen for the first time with Ajay Devgan
The new song Current Laga Re from Rohit Shetty’s film Circus has been released in which Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are seen doing amazing dance moves. Meanwhile, a big update has come out from the director’s much awaited film Singham 3. It is being told that Deepika’s entry has been done in this Cop Universe. She is all set to join this movie by becoming the first female police officer of Singham series. The name of the next series will be Singham Again and Ajay Devgan is in the lead role in it.
Deepika Padukone’s entry in Singham Again
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the cast of Singham Again on Twitter. Sharing a picture of Deepika and Rohit from the sets of Current Laga, she wrote, “It’s official… Rohit Shetty – Deepika Padukone – ‘Singham Again’… #RohitShetty marries his lady #Singham… #DeepikaPadukone Announced to be a part of #SinghamAgain, the first female cop from Rohit Shetty’s popular cop universe.”

Rohit Shetty also confirmed
During the event, Rohit Shetty said that people keep asking him who will play the female police officer in his upcoming film Singham 3. He confirmed that it will be Deepika Padukone and they will start shooting for the film next year in 2023. We are making the next Singham.” Please tell that this will be the first time when Ajay Devgan and Deepika Padukone will be seen together in a film.

Singham series started from 2011
Rohit Shetty kickstarted his cop universe with the 2011 film ‘Singham’ and in 2014 with Singham Returns. Ajay was shown as the titular character in both the films. Ranveer joined the film franchise with the 2018 film Simmba. Akshay Kumar also joined the film series in 2021 with its fourth installment Suryavanshi. Meanwhile, Rohit is also working on an OTT version, titled Indian Police Force. In this, Siddharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi are in the role of policemen.
Upcoming movies of Deepika Padukone
Apart from Singham Again, Deepika Padukone has Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan and Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. Apart from this, she will also be seen in a film with Prabhas. Pathan will be released in theaters on 25 January 2023.
