The Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG can be pre-booked by paying a refundable token amount of Rs 11,000 to Rs 15,000, depending on the dealership. Currently, the Tata Tiago and Tigor get a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This motor generates power of 86 hp and peak torque of 113 Nm.

The biggest reason for all these companies to introduce CNG variants is the skyrocketing price of petrol and diesel in the country and this is the reason why customers are now showing a lot of interest in getting factory fitted CNG cars. The Indian government is also promoting CNG vehicles as they are not only economical, but their use will also reduce fuel imports.
