Desk : A cloth shopkeeper was shot dead by unscrupulous criminals by entering a cloth shop at Fateha Chowk in Bachbara police station area of Begusarai district. The deceased was identified as Sunil Kumar Yadav alias Munna Yadav, 34-year-old son of Upendra Yadav, Rajapur village ward number 7 of Govindpur Panchayat. The incident, which took place in broad daylight, caused a sensation in the area.
Angry people blocked NH-28 located at Fateha village and created a ruckus against the police administration. Villagers are told that the cloth shopkeeper Sunil Kumar Yadav alias Munna Yadav was sitting at his shop when the bike rider reached the cloth shop and shot and injured the shopkeeper Sunil Yadav. The injured Sunil Kumar Yadav alias Munna Yadav was being taken to the hospital for treatment by the local people and family members.
He died on the way while being taken to Begusarai. Angered by the incident, people blocked NH-28 near Fateha village and vandalized several vehicles. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Bachwara police station reached the spot. After which an attempt was made to pacify the agitated people. But the agitated people remained adamant on the demand of calling a good officer. The police have recovered the shell from the spot. The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained. Police is probing the whole matter. The incident has created a furore among the family members. The family is in a bad condition. Angry people are demanding the arrest of the killers.
