This Bollywood actress will present the FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has once again made all Indians proud. According to an ANI source, Deepika is going to Qatar to take part in the FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy presentation. After representing her country at Cannes 2022, Deepika will be part of the final ceremony to be held on December 18 at the Lusail Stadium in Lusail.

Lusail Stadium, also known as Lusail Iconic Stadium, is Qatar’s largest stadium with a capacity of 80,000. Lusail Stadium is a futuristic venue with state-of-the-art facilities. The iconic design of the stadium was inspired by the interplay between light and shadows symbolizing the famous Arabic lantern called the Fanar.

Apart from hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022 final, the stadium will also host the quarter-final match between the Netherlands and Argentina. At the same time, one of the semi-finals will also be held.

After the world cup, Lusail Stadium is set to become a major community hub. The stadium is part of the Lusail Sports City, which will have various public amenities such as residences, shops, restaurants, clinics and schools.

Deepika Padukona is not the first from Bollywood to participate in the FIFA World Cup 2022. Nora Fatehi was part of the opening ceremony. Nora, a Moroccan dancer-actress born and raised in Canada, became a successful Bollywood actress known mostly for her dance numbers.

Deepika will next be seen in kill, which will also star Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The action-packed film, directed by Siddharth Anand, is being shot in eight different countries. In addition to killDeepika will come out Project K along with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. In the movie Circusstarring her husband Ranveer Singh, she also makes a special cameo.
