This is Kawasaki’s new powerful electric bike – you will buy the price by running

Desk : Kawasaki is soon going to launch its first electric motorcycle. The new electric motorcycle is still in its prototype stage and was first spotted at the Suzuka 8-hour event. Kawasaki has showcased the prototype at the Intermot motorcycle trade fair in Cologne, Germany.

Kawasaki plans to launch more than 10 electric and hybrid motorcycles by 2025. Kawasaki Motors President Hiroshi Ito said that the company will unveil at least 3 electric bikes globally by 2022.

Its design is similar to the petrol model: The EV prototype is based on Kawasaki’s Z250 naked street motorcycle, which is sold in the global market. It also gets a muscular looking fuel tank and aggressive headlamps with minimalistic bodywork. Generally, the design of electric vehicles (EVs) looks different, but this is not the case with prototypes. At first glance, no one will be able to tell that it is an electric bike.

EV bike will come with chain drive technology: A chain drive electric motor is used in this electric motorcycle, which keeps the rear wheel rotating. In terms of hardware, there are disc brakes at both the ends. For suspension, telescopic forks are available at the front and mono-shock at the rear. The company has not disclosed much about the specification of the electric motorcycle yet.
