Desk : The country’s electric scooter manufacturer Ola Electric today launched its cheapest electric scooter Ola S1 Air. Ola Electric CEO Bhavesh Agarwal launched the scooter through a virtual event on 22 October. This scooter is equipped with many great features.
Talking about its best features, you will get to see the music system in this scooter. The scooter comes with a party mode, through which you can connect it to the phone and enjoy music anytime, anywhere. It also offers a calling mode. It also has 3 writing modes.
Motor, Battery, Speed and Range: In this scooter you get 4.5 kW hub motor with 2.5 kW battery pack, which can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 4.3 seconds. Talking about its range, the company claims that this electric scooter will offer a range of 100 km in Eco mode.
Price and booking amount: The registration has started from today i.e. 22nd October. You can book it for Rs 999 by visiting the company’s official website. Its delivery will start from April 2023. Talking about the price, the company has kept its price at Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom). However, customers booking under the Diwali offer (till October 24) will get it for Rs 79,999.
Running cost of 25 paise per kilometer : The company claims that the HyperCharger will charge the scooter up to 50 percent in 15 minutes. The company claims that it will cost 25 paise to run the scooter for 1 km.
Reverse Mode and Top Speed: Talking about its features, we see a reverse mode in it. Also, you can get to see 34 liters of boot space, in which you can carry a lot of luggage. The electric scooter is built on the Ola S1 platform. You will get to see a top speed of 80 kmph in Ola S1 Air.
Will also start abroad: The company is preparing to launch it in many countries apart from India. The scooter will be launched in January 2023 in Nepal and then in Latin America.
